Welcome to the Chapter 700, Military Order of the Purple Heart, United States of America, Website.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We the membership of Chapter 700, Military Order of the Purple Heart, are dedicated to honor and respect our veteran community, also to support our men and women of this great nation, serving home and abroad. We'll stress the needs of our senior veterans with respect and kindness.

I am privileged to be the commander of Chapter 700. Our members are very proud of our many accomplishments. We always look forward to our visits to senior veterans at local care centers and rest homes. We also take part in national holiday ceremonies and parades in our area. We have the solemn duty to place flowers on our deceased member’s graves, every year during the Memorial Holiday Weekend.

Our chapter has two main fundraisers. In the summer, during the Warren County Farmers Fair, we man our Purple Heart Building that sits in the heart of the fairgrounds and during the Christmas Season; we hold a fund drive in the Phillipsburg Mall. Please stop by and say hello if you see us at any of our events.

Our members also attend local school functions and ceremonies with veterans or military themes.  Our chapter over the years has placed three Purple Heart Memorials in our area: Belvidere, Flemington and Phillipsburg, New Jersey. All memorials are dedicated to Purple Heart recipients, our nation's oldest military decoration.  If you are a Purple Heart recipient and would like to join our membership, please contact us.
